SUPERSTITION

"Superstition"said Burke,"is the religion of feeble minds."It is founded on ignorance and illiteracy.People all over the world seem to have superstitions.LIKE.................
*Charms and amulets are worn as protection against evil spirits.
*A comet in the sky is believed to fulfill the wish or any desire.
*Some persons do not pay or lend money on Tuesdays and Friday; they fear that they will be reduced to poverty if they do..
*Sneezing is regarded as a bad omen; if anybody sneezes before a journey  to be begun it is postponed
* If a cat crosses a way when a person is proceeding on important work he fears that he will not succeed.
SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT NUMBER 3 OR 13 IS NOT LUCKY FOR THEM
AND SO ON................
It is unfortunate that superstistions still persists in spite of the advancement of science.
A ll superstitions are obviously baseless and absurd and prevent us from making progress in life...
